YRI Committee Webinars

YRI Committee Webinars

Please join us for the first series of Webinars hosted by the YRI Committee of the EU-METAHEART Cost Action. This series is designed to better connect young researchers and innovators (YRI) interested in the role of metabolism in heart failure. It is organized through the EU-METAHEART COST action, connecting scientists across Europe with similar research interests in how metabolic alterations contribute to the pathophysiology of heart failure.

📅 When: 10th December 2025
⏰ Time: 10:00 h CET
📍Online: https://lnkd.in/exbF4CsZ

We will engage a session where we will briefly describe the four review articles recently published in Nature Reviews Cardiology that align with the four working groups of the COST Action:

WG1: Cardiac intermediary metabolism in heart failure: substrate use, signalling roles and therapeutic targets
WG2: Vascular dysfunction in the failing heart
WG3: Immunometabolism in heart failure
WG4: Mechano-energetic uncoupling in heart failure

Check out the collection of articles here: https://lnkd.in/eMpZphPP

From January onwards, we will feature monthly talks focused on ongoing research projects and cutting-edge techniques from YRIs.
