1st Training School – Würzburg, Germany

The 1st Training School of our COST Action took place in Würzburg, Germany, from September 8-13 2024. 18 PhD students & postdoctoral fellows enjoyed expert-led sessions, workshops, and practical courses on IonOptix, Oroboros, and Seahorse methodologies, followed by a guided-tour of the Würzburg city.

The training school was followed by an international conference gathering researchers and students/postdocs to discuss about the last advances in metabolic alterations during heart failure with a keynote on targeting histone deacetylases to treat heart failure. Several sessions were dedicated to students & postdocs: feedback from STSMs experience, young research innovative award, oral presentations in each session and from previous meeting awardees.

4 awards were also given to the best poster presentations!
