You will aim to test whether comorbidities (such as blood pressure, obesity…) are responsible for the heterogeneity within hypertrophy cardiomyopathy. For that, you will be isolating cardiomyocytes from the hearts of human patients, assess myosin function using advanced microscopy, and evaluate the molecular metabolic consequences using LC/MS based proteomics.
