PhD Opportunity in Cardiovascular Research Applications

Fully Funded PhD Opportunity in Cardiovascular Research Applications are open for the BHF 4-year PhD Programme: Next-Generation Human Models of Cardiovascular Disease at King’s College London, in partnership with Imperial College London.

This interdisciplinary programme trains the next generation of scientists to build next-generation human models of cardiovascular disease.

  • Generate new human heart muscle and disease models using cutting-edge human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) technologies.
  • Work with experts in interdisciplinary science—from stem cell biology and bioengineering to computational modelling and advanced imaging.
  • Contribute to transformative research aimed at understanding and treating human cardiovascular disease.
  • Join a vibrant, collaborative scientific community at King’s College London and the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence.
