ISHR European meeting (Toulouse, France, June 13th 2024)

The COST coordinator, together with COST members, presented the EU-METAHEART goals and actions during a dedicated session at the European ISHR meeting in Toulouse. After an overview of the EU-METAHEART action, each working group discussed scientific topics of interest in heart failure: mitochondrial ion handling, mechano-energetic (un-)coupling, gut microbiome and metabolic maturation in iPSC-derived cardiac myocytes.
