Biography
I have been working on about metabolic syndrome since 2015. Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of metabolic conditions are accepted risk factors that increase the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, cardiovascular disease and renal disease. There is a close relationship between cardiovascular diseases and metabolic syndrome. In my researches, I investigated the alterantions of the levels of antioxidant enzyme activities, biomarkers and macro and trace elements in liver and masseter muscle samples in animal models with metabolic syndrome. These experiences will contribute to the determination of metabolic changes in heart failure, which is the subject of COST action, and biomarkers and treatment targets for the benefit of patients with this devastating syndrome.
