Biography
Dr Gemma Arderiu: Dr. in Pharmacy since 2002. Senior researcher-R3 in the “Institut de Recerca de l'Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau-Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques Sant Pau”. She leads and consolidates different research lines, dedicated to study the angiogenic processes derived from the Tissue Factor activation to establish new therapeutic targets in the treatment of cardiovascular and tumor diseases her return from the USA (2006). She is a researcher member of Thematic Networks of Cooperative Research: Tercel (Cellular therapy) and CIBERCV (Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red Enfermedades Cardiocasculares) and of the "Working Group on Coronary Pathophysiology and Microcirculation, ESC".She is a PI of national research projects and collaborator of international projects. She published 62 articles (on WOS) and Hindex=18).
